Ingredients:
1.5 cup Oats
1 - 1.5 cup Peanuts
3/4 cup broken Cashew nuts
3/4 cup Almonds
3/4 cup Raisins
2 cups Dates
1.5 cup Jaggary
1 cup powdered Sugar
1/2 cup Badam / Pistachios powder
2 - 3 tsp Honey
1/4 cup Ghee
8 -10 Cardamom
Recipe:
Dry roast the oats in a microwave/pan until they give nice aroma and crush them coarsely as shown in the picture below. Remove the seeds and chop the dates into small pieces as shown in the picture below.
Dry roast the peanuts, remove the skin and crush/split them as as shown in the picture below. Dry roast the almonds and crush them as shown in the picture below. Chop the raisins into small pieces as shown in the picture below.
Put sugar, cardamom seeds in a mixer and make fine powder.
Put jaggary, 1/4 cup of water in a thick bottomed vessel and prepare the syrup. (Carefully dip the tip of your index finger into the syrup, touch your finger and thumb together and slowly tease apart. If one thread is formed between your finger and thumb the syrup is done.)
Add chopped dates, raisins and mix well.
Add oats, remaining nuts and mix well.
Add sugar powder, badam/pistachios powder, ghee and mix well. Let it cool for about 5 - 6 mins.
Apply some ghee to your palms and make small balls from the mixture. Once they are cooled to room temperature store them in an airtight container.
